gerber files generation Cadsoft Eagle

You are now in the final stage of PCB designing. that is generating outputs. once you completed your PCB design you have to send it for fabrication. For Fabrication companies only need this gerber files.

In this section I will show you how to generate gerber files for single and double layer PCBs.

In home screen select CAM jobs and gerber274x.cam it is ideal for single and double layer PCBs.

Once you double click on Gerber274x.cam, a new window will pop up

Goto File >> Open >> Board, browse and select your board file.

You will see five tabs, this are the five files you need for PCB Fabrication.

1. Component side

2. Solder side

3. Silk screen CMP

4. Solder stop mask CMP

5. Solder stop mask SOL

Select Process job, now your are done.

Find the gerber files in same folder where the board file is located.

Compress this files with Winrar and send it to fabrication.
