Chinese space station is expected to come crashing down to Earth within weeks

China's first spacestation Tiangong-1 is lost control and expected to come crashing down to Earth within few weeks, The Tiangong-1 or Heavenly palace lab was launched in 2011 and described as a "potent political symbol" of china. It was used for both manned and unmanned mission and visited by china's first female astronaut Liu Yang in 2012.

In 2016 China admitted it had lost control of Tiangong-1 and unable to perform controlled re-entry into atmosphere. Aerospace in a statement said that there was 'a chance that a small amount of debris' from the module the module will survive re-entry and hit the Earth. "If this should happen, any surviving debris would fall within a region that is a few hundred kilometres in size. and research organisation warned that the space station might carry fuel which is highly toxic and corrosive called Hydrazine.

Now Tiangong-1 is expected to re-enter the atmosphere between March 24 and April 19, the Guardian report said and scientists are not able to predict exactly the 8.5 tonne module will hit. The chance of crashing is slightly higher in northern china, The Middle East, Central Italy, Northern Spain and Northern states of the US, New Zealand, Tasmania, Parts of South America and Southern Africa.

This is not the first time a space station lost control and crashing into Earth. See below video of Mir Space Station Re-Entry And Burnup Over The Pacific Ocean happened in 23 March 2001.
